CROSS COUNTRY

Yesterday it was Cross Country. I  came 1st. It was not hard. I hope that I go to South Otago. Caitlyn came second. 

My Term 3 learning Goals

• To use topic sentences and good supporting ideas in my persuasive writing. 
• To use a clear, loud voice with lot of  expression {an interesting voice} when I present my speech 
• To learn my 3, 4, 5 and 6 time tables off by heart.
• To participate really well in our class dance on dance night. 
• To get fitter, faster and run further in our cross country training.                                                           

Quick write

As I was running the only escape was to go across the bridge. I said to myself ”Be brave and don't look down.” I took one step it crashed a bit. I held on to the side and took another step. I could hear two other people coming closer and closer. I took another step then he took a step. It started to go down. I started running . It snapped I Kept  running. I jumped on to the island The boy looked at me from the other side. I turned and went Home...

Mum is on the left and Dad is on the right.  I’m next to Dad because I go on the farm with him, but Lanie doesn’t.  Lanie and I are touching because we are sisters.

My term 2 goals

¨ To write an information report that has important facts in it

¨ To jump up or down the number line when I am adding or subtracting

¨ To learn the correct tikanga and rules for staying on a Marae

¨ To use the text to help me answer comprehension questions

¨ To give everything on school camp my very best effort and have fun
